Steve, did you ever get that little top handled makita? How do you like it if you did. I know one of the guys here from mich didnt care for his and sold it already on ebay. I picked up another little poulan top handle 1800 for back ups to my 2000, cant beat them for value. I think it is just the man ego thing for some, they just dont want to be seen running a old lime green saw and be made fun of. :hmm3grin2orange: Glad 90% of the people dont care for the little poulans, cause i get them that much cheaper. :ices_rofl:

Yeah, that Makita thread came and went pretty quick! It'd be nice to hear how it's doin' by now.

Cut, have you ever run the Echo top handles?

Never a echo TH, Bought my 2000 new in 94 and cant complain about it for homeowner duties of trim and limbing work and shall I say one handed work at 7.8 LBS. Thats why I grabbed a like new 1800 for back ups, since they dont make them and a 1/3 of the price of everything else.

What in Ohio who do you need a 3120 for? It's not like your pulling an 8 foot bar.
Go with the 200T.

Why we need a 3120 in Ohio. Well I wouldnt mind having one either, but i want mine with short bar, pipe and running on nitro. Dreamer, nothing but a dreamer, I'd probably **** my draws trying to run one of those things. Just watching them racing in chardon was like a wow factor.
In a stock saw class I out ran a 3120 with my 066 in 10x10 3 cuts hotstart saw on ground, hands on wood.

Run it? Hell I gotta figure out how to build it first!!!! Found this on the net and have wanted one since!!! Can ya see me hangin from a rope firing that dude up?

Only two hours??????? You must not have driven that far!!! In the western part I have driven 4 hours without seeing a tree myself!!! Now where I live, around Wichita, it's full of cottonwoods and Elms. Where I cut, in the Eastern part, it's Oaks and Walnuts!!
Now, where you where driving, how long did you go without seeing a hill either?
Andy
