I guess saying the saw was ported would have been easier to understand. The strato divider has been removed so it is no longer a strato cylinder.

I don't want to hijack your 4sale thread but it might help sell it idk. What are the benefits of removing the strato divider. I've asked on multiple posts and did research but can't find exact answer. Super nice saw btw!

Eliminating the strato port does two things it eliminates the air used to purge the exhaust from the cylinder and replaces it with a fuel air charge. In doing this it allows more lubrication because a fuel mixture is always used to clear the exhaust gasses instead of just an air charge. On this cylinder it also increases the diamiter of the intake track so the fuel delivery is not as restricted.

Wonder why others haven't been doing this....

Thanks for the 'Splaing.

I believe Randy used to gut the Stratos too, but has since switched to leaving them in. I thought he told me it was for fuel savings reasons, but I can't remember for sure. Btw- nice saw and pricing. I really like mine. GLWS
