MS310 max rpm

Did a search and came up empty. I have a friend who has taken note of my dual port covers and modded mufflers, and he has asked me to open up his MS310 and tune his carb. Found all the links for the mod, but didn't find anything on what max RPM to use as a starting point for tuning the H. All I found is a reference of the 290 max being 12,500. Is the 310 the same? Thanks,

Book shows 13,000 for 310 & 390 and it dose give 12,500 for 290.

Odd that the 290 is lower than the 310/390 since the only difference is bore size? But hey, if that's what the book says....! Probably back off just a little to be safe since it's somebody else's saw. Thanks for the info!
