Ralph - any reason why you went with the 260 filter cover? The prior version is still available.

woodchuck, I tweaked it a bit... it pulled sweet in 18" red oak, not a hard log, not a soft one either. leaning on it didn't bog it out, kept cutting. that was 20" 3/8 oregon 72 1/2 skip

lake, thats the filter cover that was on it when I received it. am planning to swap it out to the original style, but thats not a big rush thing right now. I'll get around to finding a nice one. worried that a new one will not match the top cover...one faded a tad and a new one.
