Need a 3-point hitch winch for my tractor

Has anyone seen a fairly cheap 3-point hitch winch for a tractor? I don't want to spend $5000 on a Farmi. Thanks

not to put a damper on your enthusiasm or disrespect any other brands of winch......

you will only spend that $5k once. farmis are bombproof. the only time ive had to take mine apare was when i got the cable snarled up inside to the point i couldnt get it to come unrolled. ive seen other guys sell their farmis and but a new unit of another brand. before 2 years go by they have a farmi again.

if i were in the market i would go farmi without hesitation, new or used. just sharing my experiences, good luck with your search and purchase.

i found a used fransgard V-6000. got it about 3 years ago for $800. the only thing ive ever done to it is replace the cable. its an older one - it has the feet instead of the blade on the bottom. dont know if there are any still out there for that kind of price but it sure beats the price of a new one.
