Need help identifying piston

I received this with some new old stock parts. I was hoping someone has an 044 (12mm) piston kicking around they could compare this to. Thank you in advance. It’s a 50mm Stihl branded piston. Did not come with a package. It looks like 2895 and a 0-327 are stamped on the inside. I am leaning towards it being a Stihl 044.

You’d need the distance from the wrist pin to the crown. Otherwise known as compression height

Also, would be good to know the overall height from the crown to the bottom of the skirt

If it measures 40 mm crown to bottom of skirt then most likely it an 044 piston.

I’m just shy of 40 mm from top to bottom. I measured 1.555 about .02 away from 40mm. Also distance from top of piston to tangent of pin hole measures .61”. Thank you for your help. Can anyone confirm?

Oal 39.5mm
Comp height 21.5mm from center of pin.

So 10mm would be 16.5mm (.649).

12mm would be 15.5mm (.610)

Looks like you have a 12mm 044 or 440 piston
