I’ve got a NOS coil for sale in the trading post and when I originally researched the part number 1124-400-1303 I thought I read that is was an 084 coil. A member pointed out to me yesterday that it is more likely a 088/880 coil and I’ve only been able to find one person mention this exact part number and they said it could be rev limited. Can anyone shed some light on this subject? I don’t want to sell it and someone get something other than what they expected. Thanks

That 1124 400 1303 coil was a cdic prüfrex coil used on the 084 from machine no. X 20 334 183. Yes that one was rev limited. The flywheel has to be mounted in the "P" position for that coil, for the analog Bosch coil in position "B". On a machine with the old analog Bosch coil, the new digital Prüfrex coil can only be used together with the HT-5 A carburetor and the newer 2 position key flywheel. The newer 2 position key flywheels (with key marking "B" and "P") are 1124 400 1203 and 1124 400 1207 (084 W). The previous flywheels 1124 400 1200 and 1124 400 1205 (084 W) must only be used with the previous analog Bosch coil.
