Not chainsaw related but I need help with working on the carburetor from my lawn tractor. The lawn tractor is a Craftsman LT1000 with a 18hp Briggs. The carburetor is a Walbro 5-4993 LMT. I cannot figure out how to remove the bowl. There is an electronic fuel shutoff selonoid at the bottom of the bowl. I can't get that off either to look inside the bowl. I need to clean it. I don't have any pictures of it. If anyone has any ideas, tips, tricks I'd appreciate it.

The fuel solenoid should unscrew with a half inch wrench. The top of the fuel solenoid will have a spot able to get a wrench on. Most wrenches are to wide to fit in between the bowl and fuel solenoid body so you will have to grind down on the open end side of the wrench untill you can slip it in. That is what I have done in the past. Good luck.
