Neo Tec Vapor Locking

Hello all!

New here. As the title suggests, my saw seems to vapor lock when filled full. At full throttle, it revs inconsistently. When I drain the tank to 2/3 or 1/2 full, it runs just fine. Has anyone run into this before and possibly have a fix for it?

Im guessing it's the tank vent.

Thanks for the reply. NH 865. Cap seals good. Where would the vent be on this thing?

The vent is on the chain brake side towards the back of the tank.

Thanks! Is it behind the chain tensioning shroud? I’ll see if I can find it and make sure it’s not plugged up with debris. On another note, do you know if there is another option for tank caps? My oil tank is leaking oil from the cap no matter how much I tighten it. Even switched both caps to see if that would help. No dice!
