I was a flee Market today and ran into an old friend with 2 NIB 55R's for $300.
each but told me I could have them for $250. each if I buoght both.
Do you guys think it's worth it and could I sell them at a profit,as their
too heavy for what I want.I have a neck and shoulder injury,so the 353
at 10.6Lbs. is about all I can handle.

Thank You! :)

They still sale new 55R at lowes for $359 with warranty. Seems like $250 is what they go for on ebay new. Check old sales and see.

I know you said new. I was letting you know you can still buy them in the stores too, with a warranty. You never mentioned in your title that your friend was giving you a 2 year warranty that you could pass on. I was just trying to help you out JEEZ!

Sorry TimberMaster Didn't mean any harm! Just wanted too know if you guys
thought it was a good deal? I did forget to mention in first post it had
warrn.and went back and edited it. Sorry again.

Is your friend a Husky dealer? If not, no 2 year warranty no matter how NIB. Still a good price for a decent saw.
