I was at Lowe's the other day and noticed they are selling some new, Made-In-Sweden Husqvarnas (4??). A couple of things were noticeable:
1) One bar nut instead of two. I guess one works, right?
2) 'Child-proof' switch/choke. OK, it was 'me-proof' for a few minutes until I figured out that you have to pull it out first to push it up, and it appears to be momentary in the 'off' position (returns to neutral when released). Has small children lighting up chainsaws been a problem?
3) The carb seems more integrated into the air filter than any other saw I've seen. The throttle plate is right up front when you pull the air filter off, and the choke is buried down below. Kinda used to seeing the throttle on the other side, but again, I assume that it works.
Anybody else taken a look at these?
Is Husky building all of their newer saws this way, or is this a 'special'?
