I’ve wanted an 064 for a while, finally found one. It’s in good shape, runs well. Someone gutted the muffler and not in a good way so I’ll be replacing that. Also has some light scoring. I can’t feel it with my fingernail but it’s there. I’m going to clean up the jug, see if the piston will too. I had a Dolmar with similar damage and both parts were salvageable. I’ve used Masterminds setup and it works well.9569DD11-F12E-4403-A71B-18358EB055F9.jpeg71EC1F44-1422-4673-B38E-98C37CBAF593.jpeg

What is the set-up for cleaning up the piston and jug ?
A mandrel chucked in a dremel with 180, 220, 400 grit Emory cloth cut into strips. I’ve done it on a Dolmar with good results. Safer and faster than acid. I think I can polish that piston too. Making the “mandrel” in my lathe now. Using a 16 penny nail, I have to turn it down to fit the dremel. Then hacksaw a slice in for the Emory cloth.
