I have been trying to clear space to segment my stacks since I took down 22 white pines to build my garage, I have milling scraps and such. I will be getting the hickory, beech, cherry first... I have poplar already so will be moving that out of the way. Neighbor has an uprooted hickory for me and guy at work just had a hickory taken down at his house that is mine for the taking... when it rains it pours! I talked the Misses into redoing the kitchen cabinets, guess I'll be milling a lot of the hickory for that. Want to put the poplar and pine together for the shoulder seasons.
What are the specs on your trailer? I think your heavier duty than me by the loads in your build...
. I was thinking of going from pocket to pocket along the bulkhead but may not be strong enough.
10k 6x12. I thought of doing it in the pockets but they are a little to wimpy to hold a winch . There only like 22 gage steel.
Won't be doing firewood for a few days . We have over 2 ft of snow as of 3pm today
Yea, we ended up with about 4" of sleet covered in 1\8" of ice. Would rather have had snow! Be safe up there!
