I picked up a new splitter and headed to my dad's farm to check it out this afternoon. He has a few big pieces of Maple from a tree that blew down a few years ago so I thought I'd give it a try with those.

I only had about 30 minutes to play but so far I'm pretty impressed with this machine. I won't be splitting anything this big on my property. It's always nice when a brand new piece of equipment starts on the first pull and then performs like it's supposed to.

Mine paid for itself long ago. Splits everything I can set on it, and some I can't.
