hi all!

i just picked up an old mac timberbear for a song
i need it to drop some timber on my new property

i need a good source for the manual (i can only find the PM605/10/50) and the parts list
i also need the original chain specs so i can find a decent sharpener

also whats the story with the granberg 106 sharpener jigs? are they any good?

thanks much

PM 610 is the same as the Timber Bear so you can use the PM 610 manual for your TB. Now for some gratuitous saw pics!

thanks for the help so far
i just had a feeling this would be a good forum

im a completely new to this stuff

so what is the general procedure for sharpening (i get that the strokes should be even
and that the pitch should be maintained
whats the procedure for filing the flat surface on top of each cutting tooth?
will a plain bastard/mill file work?

any feedback on the granberg file-n-cut 106b sharpening jig? ive also seen some oregon jigs that are simliar.

i also have a running 1836avcc (yes i know these arent very good) for limbing, does any know the file size for that one?
the auto oiler is not working in this saw, is it fairly easy to replace?

thanks again for all help
