I got my 4200 on there, was a auction that everyone forgot to look at, was a better saw than what it said, p and c was good and all the parts were on it. Turned out to be ok, haven't seen any good deals since. Seems like all of a sudden everyone wanted to auction their stuff off

This is for sale all the way out near the VA/WV border. Messaged the guy. He wants $40 for it. Worked last year. Problem is it's 160 miles away. Is it an 8500 I think?!?

Oh ok. I couldn't tell with that large handle on top. For $40 that's not worth it. I've seen some craftsman and poulan ones local.

See the difference in the rear handles and muffler.

I fondled up a stihl 661 and a 441 today and well I have 1 word... YUCK!! Feels like cheap plastic wobbly bulky junk to me and have no interest in them whatsoever I've cut with a 441 a couple years ago and was kinda peaky I thought.

How does a big counter vibe compare? After running and repairing a 4000 and a bunch of 10 series Macs these modern saws just feel gross lol

I'm worried for the future

I'm thinking that as long as we have a handful of good old saws we have it made. Speed of the cut isn't everything, ease of fixing, comfort, and just the fun of it is what makes my days with a saw enjoyable. The sooner you get done cutting the sooner the fun ends
