I bought some nice ones @ my local Stihl dealer. $1.75/ea. Worked great on my Poulan's.

Wish I could find some 3/16" OD spring clips for my Impulse lines!

What was the Stihl part number for the star washer?, it’s listed on your receipt. Likely those are used on FS string trimmer fuel caps.


Here are some tiny 3/16” hose clips, but may be a loose fit as he states they fit 5mm too.

You can tell which saw was used most and which was back up. Recoil goes with the saw on left. Needed it to test with.

Neither dont seem like much time on them though.

Older guy lived in town with some trees.

Well since I needed a shell for recoil on the thin ring one above. Whats another 3.7 to the parts stash. Just bought whole saw instead of just a recoil.

I knew it had that power sharp crap and 2300. But didn’t catch it was a 2300AV till just now.

Has a weird tool less tensioner deal too

So that’s how they did that. ‍

Runs squirting mix in carb.

Fing horrible design for T handle. Little guy hurts with that pos handle even.

They made so many variants it is hard to keep track, but they are good little saws.

Poulan 4218 carb settings were L 2 and H 1.75
Green strato was L 1.75 and H 1.6ish on new carb.

I just did one for a pawnshop (I tinker for them) & did 1 turn out each & fired right off.
Your humidity, heat, & altitude will determine carb tune.

Was going to buy a recoil shell for the one 3.7. But why buy a recoil when you can just buy a whole 3.7 thin ring saw being sold as non runner unless fed prime.

Thin ring top looks good too.

Lets just say no more tygon 4040 lines going in these.

First time trying the echo oem line in the small top handles. Loving this so far.
What I use in the bigger saws all the time. But thought I would try this over the Tygon 4040.

3x5 yep. Just never thought about it fitting these till yesterday.

So one less line to buy. As I buy this in 26' rolls in 2 sizes.

I put them all up for sale on my CRG. Little guy for $30 pending local pick up already.

Hadnt even had a chance to clean them up a bit. Just doing what matters. Run cut

I’ll still need to clean outsides. But new echo oem fuel lines. New tank vent with new duckbill.
3.7 3700 61cc thin ring PHO

All start and run.
Do have some D176 bars if needed. Just cost you more for bigger box and shipping weight.
PM with any trades etc

Also have a 3.7 red thin ring with nice topend I am going to part out instead of going through.

JMO that tool less tensioner is a worthless POS IMHO on that 2.3av.

I thought to myself. hmmmm my 2000 I bought new in 94 needs that handle AV.
