Hello all I just picked up a low hour fairly clean 306Ait has the poulan plug still. I'm a chainsaw user re-builder and porter/modifyer and I think it's too nice to modify and use for work. Is there anyone intersted in it? I will post some pics if so its disassembled getting cleaned.

I would be willing to port it and or do a few mods for performance for extra $ we can discuss through messaging on here or over the phone. Thanks

If you are missing the screws that hold the cylinder cover on the 5200, 5400 ect.
I found a work around.
Take a chain adjustment screw from a 3400 and turn the head down a bit then under cut the body and cut to length 1.25
If you need some let me know and we can solve the problem, I have the lock washer that is HD.20220221_151630.jpg

Well it runs pretty good and starts easily I’m open to offers or would trade for a Pioneer P40 or larger or an 82cc or larger Mcculloch it doesn’t have to look great but needs to be mechanically in good condition.I guess nobody wants it so I’m debating put it on eBay or keep it and port it along with bigger carb and fiberglass reeds.

I had a stroke of good luck tonight, which rarely happens with me.I was bidding on a Poulan 3400 a few days ago & it went to another bidder.I didn't realize it,but we had the same bid amount, only a few days difference. The other bidder didn't pay for the saw,so the seller contacted me & offered it at a Buy It Now price of $80 (original sale price),of course I jumped on it.

Thats a nice score my friend

Poulan Pro 220.
I gave $10 for it & have owned it over 4 months now.
I have MANY saws & its earned its keep.
Pretty impressive clamshell saw with pretty impressive torque.
42cc's, it's my go to around here.
Gonna be my Deer Camp saw next year.
Never fails to start in any weather.20220223_205901.jpg

I did a Muffler Mod w/deflector & ignition timing advance.
NGK Plug, all new fuel lines, carb gasket, new Stihl yellow chisel grind chain.
Chrome bore saw.
Punches way above its pay grade...

Good job. I had a non payer on an 036. Had to relist it.

Poulan 54cc came in yesterday before ice storm hit. Ya I see why chain wont turn.
Plus turned his oiler all the way up too. Same as I do all of mine.

Then folks asking for 164 carbs. So dug out what I had still. 2 more builders sold.

While digging came across another 3 show heavy duty clutch for the 380 330 etc saws. Pic blurred so need to take another.
