I'm looking in purchasing a North Star log splitter and wanted to see if anyone has any experience with these splitters. I'm looking at the 9hp Honda GX, 16GPM pump, 5" x 24" cylinder, 37 tons of pressure for $1700.
I'm debating between this and the Timberwolf-2 which costs $2800. Is it really worth the extra $900 if i split on average 5-10 cords per year?
Any suggestions or comments would be great!
