For those of you who own OWB's that are gasification units, what is the longest you've gone between cleanings? I usually try to do it every other weekend but I got a little busy and neglectful this fall and I went 6 weeks before cleaning it out last night. The brushes passed through the heat exchange tubes a little tighter than usual and the ash at each end of the tubes was pretty deep but the boiler wasn't smoking much still. I burn a lot of well seasoned but partially rotted/punky wood that is a by product of me selling firewood.
