I moved to Southern California from North Carolina and I have never climbed or trimmed a Palm. I worked storm damage in Florida and cut some down, but never dealt with them on a daily basis. So I know there is a lot of information out there about Palms, but I would like to get some information from you all that deal with them daily. Like the correct tie in point on a Palm. How far is too far to go up these bad boys? What's the strength of a palm? Do they break easily, and what ever else anyones got. I appreciate any info, pictures, drawings, or any references to help me learn more about these. I've climbed in North Carolina for 10 yrs. So I've been at this for awhile.
One more question for you all can some one define the term lacing. Never herd it an I want to make sure I've got the right idea of how to do it.
Thanks a lot,
BB
