Partner Chainsaw Thread

I been kicking this around for a week now. I think it would be great to have a Partner saw thread. I took a liking to the 500 series saws and all the other makes and models using this design. There is a lot of good info on these saws on this site, but sometimes hard to find when searching for a specific thread. Post any pictures of any Partner saws and their brothers, even if you have posted them already. Lets try to make this thread a wealth of information on these great saws.

This is my R16. I have never cut with it. I have it running correctly and will get it in the wood this summer. It seems read this saw was the progenitor of the 55????

Yes the r16 is I think about 1967 became before the s 55 s50 that’s 1979then the f55a in 1976

I have a farmer 55, a 65, and 7000. All run oil and cut and I would be happy to move them all along. Located in Ontario Canada.

If anyone has access to a NOW blue oiler button for a P100 McCulloch PM1000 I'd like to talk...

Mark, I've got a half dozen P100/Mc 1000's but the only manual oiler button I have seen is a flat metal thumb tab. The blue lever is the choke isn't it? Did you ever get the BP-1 gas tank I sent you a year or so ago? Tom

Thanks Tom - Fuel tank was installed shortly after I received it and the saw is operational to this day.

I will follow up with Bob Johnson and see if he can clarify just what he is looking for on the Partner.

Hi guys,first time for me posting on this sticky.I just bought what I believe to be a model 5000 for $10.50.It's supposed to run on a prime & looks to be complete.I'm wondering if anyone knows what bar mount pattern the saw has?

D116 fits best worse is already D010 is for old toasters but your 5000 is probably newer

I never heard of either of those mounts & the Oregon book I have is from 2017.

Don't lean so hard. I have a 20 " x 3/8th full comp, on a Jonsered 49SP and it works great for me.
