Picked up a Mcculloch Double Eagle 80 today

Picked the double eagle 80 today. Guy said it was his father in laws that passed away. Said it wasnt used much and probably needed carb cleaned. I put some fresh gas in and fired it up. Got $50 in it. Have t had a chance to clean it up yet

Nice saw. 82cc MACs are great saws. I have one or two. Or seven or eight. I don't really remember.

The DE80 is pretty unique in the 82 cc line up, the only one with a carburetor mounted directly to the cylinder and a flexible boot to seal the air box.

The 82 cc McCulloch 10 series are some seriously nice saws.

Thanks for the congrats and the "you suck". Picked up the saw for a weekend project but didn't expect it to be in such good shape and just need fresh gas. The guy i bought it from said it should be a good saw or a good boat anchor! I will probably newer use the thing and may have it sold to a fellow Tennesseean. Seems like the craziest finds are listed only as "chain saw for sale". Added another pic for everyone to hate on.

This nice saw is moving east. CAD has overwhelmed me. I would look to Mark for an antidote but I believe he has more 82cc MACs than me.

New home - I have to make more room as there are three not shown plus one waiting for reassembly.
