What Guido said, many parts get interchanged/swapped around on these older saws and it is hard to tell an exact model from say a clutch cover or recoil cover as these parts will interchange with many other models. The bore diameter can narrow it down the best.
I appreciate your help, I just wanted to be lazy and not have to take the whole saw apart. Was there a p42? If so what's the difference between it and the p41 is it just bore size?I am guessing p41. Let's us know what you find out.
Yes indeed pioneerguy I noticed no decomp on the back of the saw so likely not a 51Since it does have the brake band capable clutch cover on it, then it could very well be a P41. I can`t see a decomp button sticking out the rear housing so it likely isn`t a P51.
Thank you nnero! I'm gonna tear it down and rebuild her back to running again. I have a bunch of Pioneer/Partner saws that need work so I'll be busy for the next year or so haha!No decompression buton or manual oiler so...P-41?
