Piston for Jonsered 801!

Hi everybody,

Having difficulty tracking down a replacement piston in the UK for the Jonsered 801 I am in the process of resurecting. One company I contacted said they could supply a piston for a Jonsered 830, which has the same bore (52mm) but they coundn't be sure if it was compatable with my 801!
Does anybody know if the 801 and 830 used the same piston or what the part number would be for the original piston? It would also be nice if somebody knew where I might find a full parts list for the 801.

No these are not the same piston. The 801 piston part # is 504 42 21 00 and the 830 part # is 501 91 16 01 which looks (in the IPL) like a windowed piston and the 80/801 piston is not. You do see these pistons on ebay occasionally in NOS and used. Good luck.
