Plz What file size for this chain ?

Hi I just got a used MS192C
On the Chain tooth itself I can see stamped on the name Sthil, the letter C and the number 6
Can you plz tell me what file size do I need ? Thank you

Ok I just measured 3 rivets center to center and devised by 2 ... that gives me a 1/4 pitch
Now according to Sthil I would need a 1/8” file ....did I get it right plz ?

Have a look here, it shows what the P stands for re type of chain, and the file size.

hmm file wont load
P = pico chain, takes 4mm file

You better change your "devised" to "divide" so that you come out with 3/8"!

That being said my calculations are correct or there is something I Sthil ( pun intended) don’t get. Lol

Thats 3/8” you can tell by looking at it. 1/4” cutters are tiny

Last I checked 3/4" divided by 2 was 3/8"... Were you using the "new" math?

Where did you see 3/4 ? My caliper indicate 1/2 “c/c ... see picture
But anyhow I get it I will buy a 4mm file

I think that you either need new glasses or digital calipers. Your photo shows .750 or 3/4".

Use a 11/64” with the file n guide for the upper edge that cuts. Use a 5/32” or 1/8” file for the gullet under the tooth.

Fixed it brain fade it’s 11/64” upper edge, in the file n guide.
