I learned from trial and error setting up the chain for speed cutting it also cuts faster in the woods.

Yup with the gullet opened up, the upper cutting edge of the tooth sharpened with the file n guide plus the rakers set deeper the chain cuts way faster with a larger pin rim.

Where did you see 3/4 ? My caliper indicate 1/2 “c/c ... see picture
But anyhow I get it I will buy a 4mm file

In the picture the Caliper reads .750 " = 3/4 Inch. divided by 2 = 3/8"

yes you are right. I already made amends for my mistake. 3/8 yes.

gullet opened.... is that done simply with the smaller file, or one has to also change the angle. ( I use 30 ) thanks
