Does an increase in oil ratio to 32:1 slow down
the igniting process?
the igniting process?
No need 93 is fine.
It's the 101 that you really don't need.
That's a good question... Much of it does not burn..Does an increase in oil ratio to 32:1 slow down
the igniting process?
So the 87 octane burns quicker than the higher octanes?
Well I guess thats what I was wondering if the oil ratio is gonna slow combustion then a lower octane fuel would be more effective with a ratio of 32to1 over 50to1?It depends on how you are defining quicker- lower octane will ignite more readily, but the speed of the urn has more to do with the specific gravity of the fuel.
Whats ur opinion on H1r and Motul 800t?It depends on the oil. Oils with a lower flash point seem to burn more completely than some of the thicker bike oils.
Your crazy! Go buy the 87 and use it. Unless your getting preignition or ping then use the lowest grade you can. And since you have 87 non E I'd be tryin it for sure!so advancing the timing on some stock saws will make up for the porting being off from the factory?
I have 87 non ethanol about 4 miles from my house but had been driving 65 miles with cans to get 93 non ethanol
Whats ur opinion on H1r and Motul 800t?
Advancing the timing should put more torque lower in the midrange power
If you grind out all of your low end torque by race porting, you can get some of it back by using high octane race gas.
Imagine thatAbsolutely not true.
Absolutely not true.
That would be the exact opposite of factual...If you grind out all of your low end torque by race porting, you can get some of it back by using high octane race gas.
No sweat...Truth? There's no room for that in this thread.
Knock yourself out... Cause more oil raises power up to about 16:1...My question still would be now that we determined that 87 burns most efficiently in a saw without turning this into an oil tread is, which oil burns the most efficiently in a saw and at what ratio and protects the engine
Now we just need Brush Ape to chime in, and this thread will be complete!Truth? There's no room for that in this thread.
