I have a Poulan 3400 and need to know the correct fuel mix. Someone told me 32:1 but I have been using 50:1 in it. Which is the right mix?
Will 50:1 screw up the motor? Thanks

The operators manual calls for 16/1 or 32/1 oils. I ran 16/1 ratio, tried 32/1 and even tried 12/1. The 12/1 was smokey but the saw seemed to run cooler, at 32/1 the saw ran hotter and vapor locked at times in the summer. Settled on 16/1. maybe with the newer oils you could run 40 or 50/1 - but why chance it?
