Anyone who is not specifically trained by a real authority (Electrical worker training facility with power company reps. to explain what power is), certainly not the I.S.A., should really s.t.f.u.. Talked about this here many times before, it infuriates me because some people here are determined to put tree health before human safety, appalling. Basically, if you don't have the training, don't climb around power, and because you don't have the training you also lack the knowledge to tell others how to climb around power. I think most of the people beaking off about not using spurs would be electrocuted if they were on a line clearance crew. I am so glad I work in the bush now, away from powerlines and especially the "experts", do-gooders, treehuggers and other such types. Be safe guys-if you are not sure don't do it-call the power company for advice.
