Had a similar experience with "stupid" neighbor that required either losing our trees or moving them at our expense. A mix of spruce, balsam, scotch..most were 12-15' tall. Took a trailer mounted Vermeer TS-44 to move many, then a 60" truck mounted to do the rest. All made it except 2 and at a cost of about $2M. It's been a full season and they look great and will block our view of his barn and numerous junk piles. Lucy, your situation sounded alot like ours...transplanting from a slope, etc. Good luck with your choices.

Sorry 'bout that. Yes, $2,000 ....we moved 65 trees total. One guy with the Vermeer did 38 in one day...about 3-4/hour and he was flyin'. He charged $75/hr. Then the truck spade moved the rest a few months later at $100/hr.
