problem with stihl 017 chainsaw

the saw run great at high RPM but die at low rpm rebuild the carb but still want run at low rpm need help please

the carb has one screws and when it die the plug is dry

Could be a clog in the idle circuit, or an air leak. The idle passages in an 017 are barely big enough to see light through. Also, the fuel lines are always cracked on those. If the fuel line is failing, you could have sucked some junk into the carb.

Where in Alabama are you? I know a hack saw guy just east of the AL/GA border off I-20

Id personally clean the carb, maybe new kit, check or replace lines and go from there. Its starving for fuel for sure. There is are two little rubber flaps in the carb, make sure that they are not all screwed up. Keep us posted

i run a presure check on the gas line and it seem to be good , where are the rubber flaps locater
