I am looking at a Promark Model 210 Chipper. It has a 2 cylinder Kohler on it, belt drive. The 2 blades look good-- no gouges. It is towable. A few questions--

Is this brand made by Gravely??
Will it take a 3 inch branch easily??
Is this a fairly good homeowner model of chipper??

Comments about it's performance welcome.

Thanks.

I'm not familiar with that machine. I used a small chipper a few years ago that flat out impressed me. I was used to the big Asplundh 16 inch chipper with a 300 cubic inch Ford industrial engine. The little rental had a 25 horse diesel and a 10 inch feed. It would cut any thing you could get in the rollers and down the throat. If your machine has hydrolic roller feed I'd say it will do any thing you could ask. If it has gravity feed that's another story. I've seen people fighting dull little chippers to the point it would be easier to just haul it away. A picture would help make an educated guess, Joe.
