Question, wood ID

What type of wood do you all think this is? Not to sure but I think it's maple. Its from a land clearing job so it was already on the ground, no leaves to ID. Thanks for the help

:agree2: To small, but from what little I could see in the second picture looked like maple, maybe sugar maple, but its hard to see.

Yup probably sugar or red maple tiny pic not so good.
