I want to get the larger stihl spikes, both inner and outer, for my 460. i have searched the site for the part numbers and have found a few different ones. I have the factory/small clutch cover, so i would like to make sure i get the correct ones so they come out even.
Since i'm gettin the new dogs, i might as well get the chain catch too. i couldnt tell from the pics that i,ve seen, does the bolt for the catch go through both dogs with the head of the bolt and the nut on the outsides of the dogs? or does it bolt to one dog and a pin just locates in the opposite dog? In less confusin words, am i gonna have to unbolt the catch every time i remove the clutch cover? Thanks for the help
