I have a problem with raising the grinder up . All other controls work fine. Has plenty of hyd. fluid, the belt that turns the hyd. pump isnt slipping, but the pulley will come to a stop. If you let off the control then go up again will move a little till pulley stops again. Is the pump bad ? Cylinder bad ? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a bad seal in the spool valve. Vermeer sells a rebuild kit has a bunch of rubber o-rings that fit in the valve. Remove the handle from the control that is not working, remove the back cover and stop nuts and the valve will slide out. Replace the o-rings and you should be fine. If one is failing the others are probably not far behind. good luck. :)
