I do know what you are talking about, but I don't know what the RAL code is for a good match. Let me check a little and see what I can find out.

Did you try an internet search to see if any of those colors listed provide that information?

Rustoleum Sunburst Yellow #7747 is an extremely close match. As close as you will get without having it mixed, anyway.

+1 that's about as close as I have found also. It's really hard for me to tell, as most of the old Macs I have came across are pretty faded. The Sunburst yellow looks nice, but doesn't hold up well to gas. The longer it has cured, the better it will hold up.

How desireable is a Homelite 2100-S?
I spotted one at my local dealers graveyard section, don't even know if it pulls over, just wondering if I should liberate it.

I need a crank for one, if it is locked up or otherwise not fixable I would be interested as long the crank doesn't show damage.

Yes, but baked Mac is not near as good a deep fried Mac. LOL
I have made a heat box that I use for curing. It is better than air drying, but still the paint will break down.
