Recommendations for easier carrying of rounds/splits.

Be Stihl, I have a slight curve on the point. I’m going to put a more pronounced hook on it. Should help. Mostly I just need to stick the rounds a bit harder. Once the hook is deep, it is not a problem lifting.

Another good tool when lifting is a back support belt. I wear one all the time when working. Even on those hot summer days in Texas. It does get hot here.
 
Thanks for all the recommendations, I have a set of tongs and a couple different styles of hookeroons ordered. Would have been nice to pick up the stuff in person to see how it feels but no one around here stocks anything.
 
TSC and other farm stores stock hay hooks unless they are cartering to the horsekeeping yupp croud.
