I always thought that 14 link pattern was D096/196

D176 has a smaller slot than a D196, I think D176 is 8mm and D196 is 9.5mm
I think the Remington bar studs are 3/8" fine thread and thats roughly 9.5 MM.
I couldn't find them?

I got the 36" for 100 shipped and I got the 43 for 114 shipped. I submitted best offer and he took it. Here's the 2 bars I bought.

The first two numbers on a Windsor bar "code" should be the length if my memory serves me correctly.
They were gone when I looked, but good on you fellas for getting them.
I guess I lucked out 36" and 43" for 220$ shipped. Hard to find sprocket tip 404 063 in any length in d096 d196. If I sell any bars I will let you know @Maintenance supervisor incase you were looking for one.

Went on a road trip to pick up a Cat 219 i bought in the winter.
Also got a batch of saws manuals and NOS parts,a lot being Remington parts.
Don't have time to go through them all and make a list,but did find 3 new roller noses that will bring some bars back to life.

I always wondered why there was some extra thread on the shaft, I see on the 663 there's a nut. Were clutches spinning off the saws? I think only my super 660 saws have that but there's no nuts on them.

I got a question for the gurus here.I got a phone call from a guy looking for the part # for an SL5 recoil spring.He came up with a 48105.Were there any aftermarket springs made by Herr,Norman Prince,etc.?
Herr did for sure. But, I don’t have the number.
Found one: 625-053. Covers all the common PL/SL types.
