Sorry for the tease, I don't have the numbers. Let's use this thread for comments and hard data from this weekends get-together. Next year if someone brings another grill and some ribs we can do more of them. The barbeque and deep fryer kept all in attendance well fed.

Thanx again Paul & Chris for the ribs & ham. Had a good time.

In the 72cc class:
1st place-Woodsdinkys PP372...1.50 sec.
2nd place- mryb PP372...2.02 sec

I believe it was 14" wood.

Your favorite creep...Rick/Saw Slut

A few fine folks from West Viriginia showed up with a pair of "stock appearing" 024's. They swear the saws have only modified mufflers and special "timing" These little buzz bombs tached out in excess of 15,000 rpm, I want one of those 'mufflers' for my 026. I still wonder how they got that 426 Hemi piston stuffed into that little saw.

wv guys

If you looked REEEEEAAAALLLYYYY close you coud see the supercharger under the starter cover.
Hey , those saws were impressive. Gives us all somethin to shoot for.

AND, kudos to Dozer and family. Great company, great food and great converesation. Did I mention how GREAT it was.
Sorry for heading out this AM, I overslept.

Well when i slow down a bit or wakeup, which ever happens last I will post some times. I'm sorry I'm not doing it tonight but I'm tired and I don't want any mistakes. I will say one thing about the saw racing that happened...... I think I infected a few of you, you got the bug. Soon just before you fall asleep you will dream of that prefect cut.

Sharen and Dan, Gretchen and I appreaciate the hospitality that both of you extended to us. Also, to those of you who helped Gretchen and I out.

As for those that I talked buisness with, I will be back for more, so please get a hold of me.

Thank you and good night, I think I need some sleep. I had to let Gretchen drive!

Later,
Chris

Creep
To set the records straight, I had first place in that event but that darn official I had working disqualified me. He was a trader and I think that I was ripped of at my own show. I still say that an 090 is in the 71cc class.
I thought that my son took second in that class with his 7300 or maybe it was second in the piped class.

Chris, What happened to the 75-85 cc muffler times? This is probably the only place where I wasn't dead last! For the record I'm the PA in the results and all of my stuff is slow! All of my saws are totally stock with factory chain. After the get-together, I am thinking about having one saw power ported. A 7900 with a pipe would be a blast. I need to re-read all the posts on filing race chain too.

Now would be a good time for someone to post one of those mugshots............. err, group photos we posed for.

Oh yeah Ricks PPHedgeTrimmer

Don't forget the Power Ported hedge trimmer. Rick had that thing singing through the cut and chips were flying...

That's Glens helping to keep the chips flying, MRYB (creep) running the trimmer, Rich Hoffman looking on in red shirt, Geofore with the ZZ-Top beard , and I'm the shaved ape in the green shirt, not a very flattering shot.

Well it's good to know at least what Stihltech and Myrb were cutting with. How about some saw id to go with those times?

I left specific instructions to leave your keys in your trucks. Now why did'nt anyone follow my instructions?

Rick

Ok everyone is wondering where all the videos are. I am still going through them trying to figure out who’s who and who has what. To bad gypo couldn’t have showed he has this down to a science. As I get time I will get thing figured out.
Seeing how all the fast stuff chickened out and didn’t show up. Must thought the competition was to stiff? LOL…
This is about as fast as they got. Hear is keystone weird with one of the fastest cut of the day

Eric
Glad you got that one on video. It was so fast I wasn't sure that you had time to get your camera turned on.
I made that chain with the help of John and by reading the Art thread.
stihlman 036 helped me out with the technique.
I am getting faster with all of your help.
Some of you might want to go back and listen to that video again. You cant see the saw that well in the video but that was my Echo twin running.

The ham that Chris and Gretchen deep-fried was also wonderful. Thanks
