I have a 1985? sachs-dolmar with a lot of history I have been fixen up.I have it running good,starts good, but when I hold it wfo it goes to wide open starts 4stoking and then the rpms drop for a second then it goes right back up again then down again.I was thinking it may have a rev limiter but i have know idea. If anyone has a clue your help wiil be appreciated.thnx

1985 is a little early for limited ignitions isnt it? Have you changed the seals?

I cannot recall if that had the gov in the carb or not! I know the 143's up did!

The 123 is FUEL GOVERNED just set the hi and low needles a one turn give or take a smige and it will be good to go
