I thought everyone would benefit from this. I have attached Windsor's Comparison chart in text format with Laser and Woodland chain brands added. This file can be opened in Excel. If someone would like to add to it, go ahead and re-post it. I also added a word document as well.

For the brands:

Manufacturer = Brands marketed

Carlton = Carlton, Laser, Total, Woodland, GB, Stens
Oregon = Oregon, Husqvarna, Jonsered, Dolmar(?)
Windsor = Windsor, Woodland X, Total, Laser
Stihl = Stihl

so Carlton=Windsor?

Just doing simple math?

Windsor used to make Laser for Cutter's Choice, but they have switched to Carlton in the past 2 years.

Total can be either Carlton or Windsor, but most total I have seen is re-badged Windsor. Tilton distributes both.

Woodland X series is Windsor, and regular Woodland is Carlton.

So Windsor is made by/owned by who????

Made in Tennessee, owned by Blount, same parent corporation as Oregon. Similar chassis, but different cutter compared to Oregon. (Or the other way around, I don't remember)

Windsor is made by Windsor, but owned by the same company as Oregon. Oregon chain is made in a different facility, but both Windsor and Oregon bars come from the same factory.
