There was a guy in here a while back who posted about spraying used motor oil on the frames of his vehicles....certainly effective but probably not very environmentally friendly lol.
Better off with fresh oil. Non of the nasty combustion by products .

My FIL's best friend has a 92 K1500 he bought new. Every fall he sprays it down with drain oil cut with diesel fuel. He still daily drives it and it has no rust. He did have to change all the rubber mounts though. I wonder why? 🤔

I’ve had to replace transmission and motor mounts on my older cars because of the fluid leaks . The last ones were on my 62 Lark the transmission mounts swelled up and turned to mush.
Mushy mounts sound like a personal problem. Like the gal that complained about her husbands mushy mounts. (Please do not delete my post. It falls under the other stuff):innocent:

I'm a fan of Fluid Film. Easy to apply. Make sure to take out the inner fenders to get coverage on the inner lip of the wheel opening. Also make sure they do inside the frame.
My uncle loves fluid film and pfc. Pretty sure he would buy it by the 55 gal drum if he could. It works well, but needs applied yearly. Well actually everytime your exposed to salt, deep water, mud etc. Making it fairly unattractive from a cost stand point.

Loaded up with dead red oak for a buddy of mine. I loaded it yesterday as it’s going to rain tonight and the morning, He’s coming over tomorrow for a cookout. We will just go tailgate to tailgate, instead of tearing up the yard. Something tells me his 8’ bed f250 won’t look this full.B90E9B04-C194-4019-91E1-D7A56E62D3C1.jpeg

If you accelerate too fast you may want wheelie bars.

Well, stopped off with the township today. Don't know if they fired the lady I was dealing with before or what, but the zoning guy was there and I got to talk with him about the shop. So he basically said I didn't need a permit because it's under 1000 sqft and could be un bolted from the foundation so they don't technically view it as a permanent structure. I asked what about **** (his name is richard) neighbors? He kinda laughed and asked where I lived, told him and said yeah we know your neighbor, very well. He helped me fill out the paperwork for a permit and said he'd give me a call next week to swing by after it's approved and pick up the display sheet and associated paperwork. Said it wouldn't be very expensive and it coveres me from getting harrased too much.
After that was done he asked me if I was ready to make a formal complaint about my neighbor? Said no, not really, why? He said they have had a lot of complaints, but none from someone with a joining property so they couldn't really do anything since he has a fence up and they can't see anything from the road. Told him I'd have to think about it. Honestly he does no property maintenance am lives in a literal junk yard. But don't know if I want to open that can of worms.

That’s the one thing aggravates me about the climate change extremists… I’m not saying things aren’t changing, but when they all use the same chart that starts the year after a long term cold spell ended up here… Not a good look.

I’m seeing a lot of weird weather lately. Following the snow and rain in California due to family there. Mississippi. Little Rock, AR today. Heading towards Memphis now.

I’ll accept the blizzard warning tonight in Minnesota, because it’s Minnesota. I have been following weather disasters for 20+ years. But this stuff is unusual. And I’m just counting the stuff happening here in the US.

Label it what you will.
