Dirty little buggers....I bet most of the trees are dead Ash , from the the EAB beetle
Can't remember if I shared this yesterday. Did a bunch no stuff to the vw before it started raining yesterday morning. Cleaned up the vacuum lines/ got rid of half of them. Did a compression test with my snap on vs a harbor freight one. That's a story of its own, but let say the hf was accurate, even if it wad 410psi off.
I have meant to tear into the rear drivers door and figure out why the window wouldn't go up without assistance, but that got stopped with the rain starting.
Turned my focus to finishing up a few gifts I'm 3d printing. Got the gaskets printed for the ammo boxes I made for my dad amd brothers, then started the ornament for mom, (which should be finished soon) then I'll start the angel for grandma. Still have to think of something for my sister in laws, but tbh if I don't get them/make them anything it won't bother me too much lol.

I quit my town tree wardens job last May. No more going out inspecting trees, getting tree removal quotes or hiring contractors to do tree work.
I can see my grandson climbing up that antler ladder.
Despite the heavy rain there are already reports of trees down on the rail trail... surprise!

. That doesn't stop them from getting exclusive logging rights to those areas for pennies on the dollar to the government though. The icing on the cake being that they bank offshore in Bermuda to shirk the tax man.

My wife jokes about starting an etsy shop with stuff like that at half the next guys cheapest price. Not like it would take any time or effort, it's mostly stuff that would get bucked and chucked into the shed without splitting anyway.

A friend had 4 pin oaks cut down and needed rid of the wood. Me and a buddy gladly helped out, all it needed was split and hauled. We took two loads and the guy still has some left. Ought to be nice for 2025!
