The Lodge 10" oven is also called a 4 quart. I can't say how it would work for bread. All I have used for "camp ovens" are my 12" and 14" ones.Yes that is the right size for the recipe I like to do the most.
Although I mostly run my ported 261 and 2 ported 462s, I did break out both the 10mm 044 (modified but not ported) and the ported MS360 not long ago and both of those saws still impress me with their power to weight. If someone owned just one saw, and it was either one of them, they would not have much to complain about! So Uncle @MustangMike, I just read that the ms360 weighs 12.5lbs and the 562xp weighs 13.5 and my beloved 262xp weighs 12.8lbs
My mind is blown that you krautsaw is the lightest, I always liked what your dr did to it, but it’s really the lightest too……
Not sure what they looked like before you restored them, but it looks to me like you do really nice work! Here’s a few of the DO’s I restored recently.
Sweet! How big are those? I can attest to the fact that @svk does a great job refurbishing CI. The BSR #5 I got from him is awesome.
I guess we can allow the lone Husky in the foto, but only because it is wearing a Stihl bar.
Very nice picture, I can almost taste it. Made me think of a bit of chile on it.View attachment 1150651
Banana, honey cornbread in my 9" cast iron skillet. Better hurry if you want some.
We are blessed fathers are we not!!!I tease my wife that my future son in-laws are gonna owe me, girls that can hunt, fish, drive anything and are pretty. These two girls can drive anything from a boat to a ATV to a snowmobile
Can load and shoot any of my guns, absolutely love to fish…

My Anna gave a boy from church a huge piece of humble pie shooting 22's. He chuckled when she walked up and said she wanted to shoot too. Big mistake! I won't contest with her!!At the Fish & Game Club Picnic!
When she was still in HS, my older daughter had two guys trying to impress her by talking about hunting. So, she asked them "do you reload?"
They were totally intimidated that she knew how to reload ammo!
Sounds like mine too. I keep saying that someday I'll clean it up.My shop has two types of messy . Messy and not as messy as it was.
Is that the new Stihl line shooter gun.Since we were having the friendly saw debate. Why I like stihl better.

I use my 4 quart every camping trip for baking biscuits (store bought kind) and cooking my evening dinner (plus leftovers). When my Brother feels like doing a deer stew (which has been awhile for lack of meat) I break out my 6 quart. The Lodge 10" oven is also called a 4 quart. I can't say how it would work for bread. All I have used for "camp ovens" are my 12" and 14" ones.
Man, those look like new! I forget what process you use? Electrolysis or elbow grease? How many seasonings do you do and with what? Memory's not great.
That's about how it handles! My buddy has a 88, I call it the cinder block
We stop everytime we go to Laconia bike week . We take all backroads turn a 3 1/2 hour highway trip into a 7 hour leisurely rideHaven't been out to VT in probably 15 years but they're brewery in Bridgewater was pretty nice.
Strip with lye. Soak in vinegar to neutralize rust if needed. Season with 2-3 coats of CrisbeeMan, those look like new! I forget what process you use? Electrolysis or elbow grease? How many seasonings do you do and with what? Memory's not great.
