I just found this thread today and I am very impressed with the job you did and the McGiver approach to problems. This is a beast of a saw. I'd love to run my 125 against it. JR

Well Lee has quite the arsenal, I would have to take his word seeing it is first hand.

Wonder how it would do against the smaller 166 Sachs?

38mm arm against a 48mm arm,,,,,,Hmmmm.

Been waiting all day to post these:

That saw looks real strong. I like the sound of them too.

Your right there, those would seperate the strong ones from the wanna be's!

I have a feeling that this Skil of Chris's could dole out a few butt woopins on that wood.

Time will tell. Gotta get this saw run-in.

I love explaining to people that Skil sold big GD chainsaws and, yes, the same Skil that makes the little woodworking tools. Most can't wrap their heads around it! Explaining it is a Canadian Canadien just blows their minds.

You're exactly right, Chris!

People don't remember that Sears Roebuck offered EVERYTHING under the sun in their various catalogs!

You could get:
- a kit house
- a kit barn
- all materials for fencing
- all appliances for the house and everything else, too
- livestock! Yep, ducks, chickens, cows, pigeons, quail (yes, quail!)

You name it!
