I am having a hard time finding anything out about a saw that came as a tag along with a 031 last year. I finnaly took a little interest I it and decided to try and get the the old timer running. Now the first issue I had was the fuel... cap says mix 16:1 gas/sae30w oil...and for some reason I had no sae30 weight oil that day so, and do correct me if I'm wrong, I assumed in the dinosaur days of this saw the quality of oil wasn't near what we can get today so I took my 50:1 and and filled the tank + an extra splash of oil = probably somewhere in the 32:1 to 40:1 mix, anyhow, there was no second issue, this old girl fired right up and ran fairly decent. I didn't run it long mostly because the chain was in piss poor shape but a concern for the mix as well. If any has info on this thing please let me know, any info on how safe/unsafe running on 2 stroke oil instead of the 30w would e appreciated as well
