smallest saw vs. biggest tree

My brother in law blocked a 7 foot diamter silver maple with a Husky 450 and 18" bar. He had to cut all the way round and then finish the middle foot or so with a huge handsaw he got from a neighbor.

He was finishing off a center this summer when a guy on a motorcycle drove by.....he saw the guy do a doubletake at him handsawing this huge tree and almost dump the bike.

6'5" (77") Pin Oak with a 24" on my 660 is the most lopsided cutting i've done.

I pruned my wife's rose bushes with an 066 36". She'd been nagging me and nagging me and then nagging me some more to prune the damn rose bushes. So I did. I haven't had to prune any rose bushes since.

that's pretty big for lodgepole

it was, we get 'em here in the higher elevations that grow like some women . . . squat with a large bole. tree was probably only 35-38 feet tall, but a chunky monkey.
