Hi everyone, I recently picked up a solo 660 to restore, and found that the piston is toasted, does anybody know if there is a replacement type piston that will fit the 660? or even have the parts second hand I need? happy to do a deal with you if so, any help on this will be very much appreciated thank you.

I'd look into other 52mm saws. 045/056 supers, 038 mag, jonsered 801, 820, 830 and others. The solo is not a common saw so very little legwork will be done for you.
Most of those (if not all of them) are "windowed" pistons and this one isn't. IDK, but that might be a problem.
I’d say no, windowed pistons shouldn’t be used but I don’t know that for certain.
If you find a solution for the piston please let me know. I have one in pieces
