I have a 30gpm pump, the manual states it is 12hp. Now, can anyone tell me how to convert that to psi ? My cylinder is 5" barrel and 2 or 2 1/4" shaft. I am wondering if this pump is strong enough. I know it will have plenty of volume.

I know it will take more than 12hp engine, I have a 20hp diesel. The company that built the pump states it is 12hp pump. My question is, How would you rate it with a regular splitter pump ? Will it work as a splitter pump ? It is designed to run a hyd chainsaw with a 46" bar with Oregon # 8 chain.

Sounds like what you have is a hydraulic motor, not a pump
